Privacy policy
Last updated 7 October 2026
Recuro is made by Snowpex Technologies. This page says what the app collects, why, where it is kept and how to remove it. It follows India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Your Google account basics: name, email address and profile photo, when you sign in with Google. We use them to identify your account.
- What you track: the subscriptions, recharges and bills you add, with their names, amounts, dates, payment method labels, notes, reminder settings and pauses, and the payments you log against them.
- Your settings: timezone, reminder times, the forex markup you set, your monthly budget and the categories you make.
- A notification token for your phone, so we can send renewal reminders.
- Purchase records from Google Play when you buy Pro: an order ID and a purchase token. We never see your card or UPI details.
- Usage events such as signing up, opening the Pro screen or adding an item, and where you heard of Recuro if you answer, to understand which features work.
- Messages you send us: feedback, with your phone's model, Android version and the app's version unless you switch that off, and the names of services you ask us to add. We reply to your account's email address.
- Crash reports through Firebase Crashlytics, to fix bugs.
What we never collect
- Your SMS, emails, contacts, photos or notifications.
- Your bank, card or UPI details.
- The list of apps on your phone. The app checks a fixed list of about 150 subscription apps on your phone itself, and the result never leaves your phone.
Scans (Pro)
When you scan a bill or a screenshot, the image is read on your phone and never uploaded. Only the text is sent, after the app removes email addresses, phone numbers, card numbers and UPI IDs from it. Our server removes them again, then sends the text to DeepSeek, which reads it and returns the items it found. We don't keep the text. We keep only its length, how many items were found and what the scan cost.
Where your data is kept
Your account and items are stored on our servers in Mumbai, India. These companies process data for us, only to run Recuro:
- Google: sign-in, Google Play billing, Firebase Cloud Messaging for reminders and Firebase Crashlytics for crash reports.
- DeepSeek: reading the text of scans, as described above.
- Vercel: hosting this website and counting its visits.
We don't sell your data, and we don't show ads.
This website
recuro.in sets no cookies. It counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which records the page you open, the site that sent you there, your approximate location (city, state and country), and your device type, operating system and browser. It tells visitors apart with a hash made from each request, which is deleted after 24 hours. None of this is tied to your IP address, so we see totals, never who you are.
If you switch the site to dark mode, that choice is stored in your browser only. Our host keeps standard request logs, such as IP addresses, for a short time to keep the site secure.
How long we keep it
- Your account, items and messages: until you delete your account.
- Items you delete: removed from our database after 30 days.
- Purchase records: kept after account deletion without your name or email, because Google Play reports refunds against them.
Your rights
You can see and correct your data in the app at any time. You can delete your account and everything in it from Settings, Delete account, or by following these steps. You can also ask us what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or nominate someone to act for you. Write to the address below.
Children
Recuro is meant for people aged 18 and over.
Grievances

Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
